 Renowned
regional artist Monte Yellow Bird, also known as Black Pinto Horse,
created "Buffalo Path, the Gathering", a tribute to family,
community and culture in the summer of 2006 in the JCPenney Court,
as part of The
Lake Agassiz Arts Council's "Herd About the Prairie",
an art stampede featuring 50 plus life-size bison. The closing
ceremony was held Sunday, March 19. Buffalo Path is now in its permanent
home in the Herberger's court, where renovation is almost complete.
